Irene Mary Arsenault

At the Western Hospital Alberton on Tuesday, February 23,2010 of Irene Mary Arsenault of the Tignish Senior Coop Home, age 90 Years.Born at Skinners Pond on October 2,1919, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Beatrice M.(nee Gallant) Arsenault of Skinners Pond, P.E.I.
She is survived by sibling's Howard of Dartmouth N.S; Ernest of Halifax; Melvina (Edgar) Peters of Tignish; Sylvia Arsenault of Rumford Maine; LeRoy of Skinners Pond.She is also survived by her many niece and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Gerry and by a sister Emily Gerogiannis.Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton,By personal request there will be no visitation.A memorial mass will be celebrated at St.Simon and St.Jude's Church Tignish at a time and date to be announced later.Interment later to take place in the church cemetery.
